Kibosh

Kibosh is a hardcore metal band formed in Bordeaux in 2021, distinguished by its incisive and chaotic music. Their unique sound fuses diverse influences, ranging from extreme metal to emo, while maintaining a resolutely hardcore punk energy and intensity.

Dissonant, incisive, and chaotic, in just a few years, Kibosh has carved out a prominent place for itself in the inexhaustible French hardcore scene. The quintet from the Southwest unleashes a veritable demonstration of force made up of heavy riffs and devastating breakdowns, with only a few metalcore and 90s rock influences providing respite within their crushing sonic maelstrom.

Renowned for their intense and captivating stage presence, Kibosh are as uncompromising live as they are prolific in the studio. They released their debut album, Your Favorite Curse, in June 2024 on Frozen Records, quickly followed by two surprise EPs: Smother Me in June 2025, and then a split EP with their Swiss friends XOXO, which led to a two-week tour of Europe and the UK in September 2025…
