Aurore

Aurore evokes the sunrise, early in the morning. The feminine name carries with it the hope and energy of beginnings. The young band from Marseille (France) offers a modern, simple, groovy, and youthful hardcore sound, tinged with nu metal and alternative rock influences, while striving to avoid following any trends. 

Aurore released their debut album, Sparks, in 2023, offering music that is both powerful and emotional. Mixed and mastered by Florent Salfati, the album explores the various emotions experienced during adolescence: the desire for freedom, the need to break free, boredom, and the violence that shatters childhood innocence, as well as the sadness of the end of summer vacation and the experience of a first heartbreak.

The first part of the album, more aggressive, conveys frustration, the experience of rejection by others, and the violence that shatters childhood innocence. The second part is deeper, seeking to exorcise resentment before potentially moving on.
